MONTEREY, Monterey County — October 26, 2026. Residents monitoring Monterey’s 2026 Neighborhood and Community Improvement Program can add November 18, 6 p.m., to their calendars. The NCIP Committee lists that Wednesday as its planned voting night, following reviews of nominated projects on October 21 and October 28. The official agenda calendar provides separate packets for each stage of the process.
A project nominated by residents is not necessarily eligible for immediate work, and a committee recommendation does not guarantee construction. The city reviews available funding and engineering feasibility before implementation. Residents who have questions about accessibility improvements, crossing safety or repairs should watch the October 28 project discussion and any revised candidate list ahead of the November 18 vote. Dates may change, and a final November meeting agenda has not yet been published as of October 26; check the city agenda website shortly before attendance.
